I was commissioned by Metronet, The Perth Transport Authority, and Element Arts & Culture to design two mural installations for the top of the new Bayswater Train Station.

Installed between translucent panes of glass, the black and white artworks were designed to show the area around the stations throughout it’s history. Historical market gardens border the modern shoreline of the river where dog walkers watch the old ferry pass by. A horse and cart delivering milk are startled by a crash of yet another truck into the old Baysie bridge. Historical figures, buildings, and environments mix together at once to show the interconnection of our modern life with the past it is built upon.
